"If you're looking for an intimate venue to catch a live band in Denver, the Marquis Theater is a great choice. The smaller size of the venue creates a close connection between the audience and the performers, making every show feel personal and energetic. There really isn't a bad spot in the house, and the sound quality is excellent for a venue of its size. One thing that sets the Marquis apart from many other concert venues is that it serves surprisingly good food and drinks. Their pizza has become something of a local favorite, making it easy to grab a meal before or during the show without ever leaving the building. The bar is well-stocked, and drink prices are reasonable by concert venue standards. The Marquis Theater opened in 2006 in Denver's LoDo district and occupies a building with a much longer entertainment history. The venue sits near the historic Five Points neighborhood, where the building has reportedly served as various entertainment spaces over the years, including jazz clubs and movie parlors. Since opening as the Marquis, it has become a favorite stop for both up-and-coming artists and nationally touring bands, particularly in the rock, punk, indie, and metal scenes. A major renovation in 2015 upgraded the sound system, lighting, and bar area, further cementing its reputation as one of Denver's premier small music venues. Whether you're seeing a band you've followed for years or discovering a new favorite, the Marquis Theater offers a fun, laid-back atmosphere with great acoustics, good food, cold drinks, and an up-close concert experience that's hard to beat. It's one of those venues that reminds you why small clubs continue to be the best places to experience live music."

"Cool little venue. Had a blast here. Drinks were pretty good. Was really happy to see how clean the bathrooms were here! That's always hit or miss at some spots, but these were some of the cleanest I've been in. Will definitely come back~"

"Amazing venue. We flew to Denver to see The Scratch. The venue is smaller in a great way. They do offer some elevated seating but you’ll need to arrive early as it is first come first served. Also, if you are hungry, the venue has a great pizza place attached to it where you can grab a slice before, during or after the show. Everyone working there was amazing to us. They even gave us recommendations to other bars in the area to enjoy given that we don’t normally like to hit the tourist laden spots. Their suggestions were amazing. We really hope to get back to a show there in the future. Thanks for a great evening."
